We painted this set of large-scale environmental graphics for Tankfarm’s new facility in Bristol, Connecticut. Painting these scaled-up graphics (one set is 100 feet wide and the other is 75 feet wide) requires pre-production planning, specific types of paint, and traditional techniques to get in and out of the site in a respectable amount of time with the least amount of waste.

Painted environmental graphics can function as a way to make large and open areas look cohesive and impactful. Large painted elements also function as background art for on-site media development. Large paintings like this can also work as directional signage in parking lots or on unusal surfaces where a physical signs are limited.
